Summer is finally here and it came just in time for my vacation. Temperatures in the copenhagen area are about 30° C (85° F) these days, and all I wont to do is to stay in the shade, cold beverage in hand.That got me thinking: There must be a geeky way to cool the apartment. Not many people have AC, but I'm sure I could do with less.
I did some Googling a found some geeky solutions, that I wanted to share.As always, instructables had more the a few DIY suggestions.
From the simpler desktop cooler blowing air a ice
over the more challenging fan with ice cooled water
to the big solution involving a radiator, some cobber tubing and a well in the backyard.
All this reading helped me build up a sweat.In the end I decided that is was too hot for DIY projects and took a cold shower instead :-)
